That about sums up the level of reverence the majority feel toward our president right now. I heard 3 or 4 times today how the president was going to paint the Republicans into the corner tonight with his electric speech. The evidence of how threatened they apparently felt is shown by the fact they didn't even dispense the energy required for a response. Why bother?
