Did I Really Just See That?

You know what's really stupid?  I was standing in the Wal-Mart check out line tonight and I saw some kind of "go green," environmentally safe chewing gum.  Apparently when you throw it out, it grows into a tree.  Like, huh???  Now, I love and totally support the free market, so if there's somebody out there who thinks disposed chewing gum is going to take down our planet and wants to create and market a gum that grows into a tree when you throw it away, go for it.  I just hope Obama didn't give them $535 million to develop it cuz I know I'm not going to buy any.
