The Irony of Government Rears Its Ugly Head Again

So, a few weeks ago, my husband bought 6 baby chicks--something we've done often over the last 10 years or so.  The difference this time was he was required to fill out a form and show his driver's license, by order of the MN Department of Health.  As a friend pointed out tonight, we are required by law to show a driver's license to buy a $1.69 baby chick, but NOT to vote.  Hm.  Our government at work.
